Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week. I am doing this late in the week, but we did quite a bit the week before Christmas and I wanted to share it with you.
- We went to the Lights Before Christmas on a Friday which is crazy, but to top it off it was 50°. I was really surprised that it wasn’t busy. There was no line to get in the zoo, close-up parking and no crowds. That is definitely the way to do it. The kids also got to use the tunnel to go under the street and crossover to the other side of the zoo. It has reopened. The last time I used it I was in high school so over 20 years ago!
- P got to meet Elsa on Saturday at the last princess storytime. She was so excited. I thought this would be super busy too, but it probably had the least amount of kids compared to the other princess storytime.
- We finally got to make Christmas sugar cookies. P was so happy she got to help and I love that face when she makes it.
- TeeTee and I did a paint class on Monday night. This was my first time painting on wood and I didn’t “love it.” The painting turned out okay and I am sure I will hang it up for a while.
- We watched Little A last week because she had a cold and then her babysitter had a cold. P loves to have her around and it was fun. Although we both now have her cold.
- The kids got to decorate cookies. It took them two days to finish them because of the short attention spans.
- The second day of decorating cookies we also decorated gingerbread houses. P did a little one and S did a big one. I think P put so many different candies on it so she could sneak some during the day and I would never know. S on the other hand went for the minimalist look.
- P had Santa visit her classroom on the last day before break. She was so quiet and shy when she talked to him. The only thing she said she wanted was LOL Glam Glitter.
- B and I both went to see her with Santa and then for her Christmas party. She is so different at school. She is quiet and unsure of herself, which no one believes me because they see how she is when she is home.
- P and I did a little fashion show with Little A when we were watching her. I had this Santa outfit to review and she was the perfect model. It really was cute on her.
- After P was done with school the kids and I went to see The Grinch at the movie theaters. They both liked the movie and do great. I see more movies at the theaters in our future.
