Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week. It seems that when it comes to the end of the week I am really slacking on the blog. I run with it on Monday night, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and then just don’t get to it again. This week was busy with 3 baseball games, and swim lessons started.
- P started swim lessons for the first time and loves them. When it comes time at the end to jump in she tells the instructor to move she will do it on her own, and does. The other kids either jump into the instructors arms or cry and refuse. Not her she was all about the water no matter how cold it was.
- A came over to hang out with us and brought his iPad. The two of them sat in the chairs with tablets for a long time. It was a preview into what the future will be like when they are an old married couple.
- P got her creativity on with Grandma G at S’s baseball game. She was wearing a towel on her back not as a super hero cape, but as the train Elsa wears in Frozen. She just ran around swishing the towel behind her.
- Dinky got a taste of what happens when she falls in the pool with the solar cover on. She was walking behind me on the side of the pool and fell in. She ran around on the solar cover while we tried to get her. She finally came to B but it took a few minutes to convince her.
- S played baseball Saturday morning before the rain came in. It rained before the game and then held off until the end of the game and rained in the last inning. He got a base hit off the pitcher and finally made it home. Although he walked in on another player getting hit by a ball he still made it home. He said to me, “That’s one way to get home!” It sure is. A run is a run and I’ll take it.
- P wore a new jean dress to A’s birthday party. She decided to wear pigtails in her hair. With the humidity each pigtail turned into one giant curl just like a “pig tail!” I let her pick her shoes to wear and she decided on the sparkly pink party shoes.
