Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week. This week has been a bit strange. I started working on my Monday post and had not been feeling well since Saturday night. So the beginning of the week I was sick and then I have been busy finishing a bunch of stuff for my sister’s baby shower tomorrow. I can’t show any pictures now because it is all a surprise to her, but I will recap it all in next week’s Monday post. Since I didn’t do a Foto Friday or Manic Monday this past week I am adding pictures in from last week along with this past week.
- This is the cute little Valentine that S gave to all of his classmates. A Snoopy Valentine, a box of stickers, and a Snoopy eraser. I thought they were so cute and I spent $3.50 for all of this for the entire class. If I had bought all of this at full price it would have been $35.00. I can’t even imagine spending that much on Valentine’s for his class.
- P found a My Little Pony jacket at Target. She tried it on and loved it. What does B say? You can get it. I guess we are getting it. Granted it was only $6.88 so I didn’t care. She really, really, really loves this jacket.
- P got to meet Cinderella at a special story time at the library on Saturday. She was that annoying child who went up to Cinderella every time she turned a page in the book to say something. It was like Cinderella takes a breath and P has to fill in the quietness with words. To me it was so funny because I have never seen her this excited about a character before in person. Usually she shies away from them, but it looks like we have taken a turn on the shy stage.
- B and I had a date night on Saturday and went to see Little Big Town in concert. It was a good concert minus the mean girls that were sitting behind us. That is a story for another day or just check out my Instagram post on it.
- So the picture on the left was from about a month ago when we went up to see the dam in Grand Rapids.
- The picture on the right is what the dam looked like on Wednesday. The water is so high you don’t even realize there is a dam. Except for the completely smooth water that moves into dangerous water there are no other clues. We were hoping to see ice breaking up but it looks like it just melted with all the rain. No ice dams this year on the river.
- P fell off her bike on Tuesday when she was out riding around in the cul-de-sac. I wasn’t out with her, B was so I didn’t actually see it happen. It looks like she bit into the inside of her lip. She had some blood from it but it really was the swelling that was the issue. Sure it hurt, but it made it harder than it normally is to understand her when she is talking. The first pic is Tuesday night right before she is going to sleep. You can see that it is swollen. In the black dress is Wednesday. It is huge and is really hard to understand what she is saying. It made for a long whiny day. The last picture is of this morning. I caught her for a quick pic as she was playing and you can see she is still al little swollen but it is much better than what it was.
