Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week. A lot of things got done this week and yet nothing got done all at the same time. Does that make sense?
- This is what it looks like when P is done playing with her PlayDoh. If you look at the top of the picture you will see as soon as she is done eating her breakfast she will push her bowl away and get out the Playdoh.
- P was painting cotton balls at “The Art of Mess” at the Maumee branch library on Thursday. She loved making them different colors.
- I got a bunch of books for S to try to see if he likes these series at the library. I love when I catch him reading with his back to the tv. He truly is like me when he will pick books over tv anyday.
- I taught P what a wet willy was last night and convinced her to give one to her dad. I did my best to pin B down so P could get him. Eventually it worked and she got him. It was hilarious and of course we were too loud and S couldn’t fall asleep.
- I love to watch Dash and Dinky play a cat and mouse game (no pun intended). Dash will do anything to hide and do a sneak attack on Dinky. I caught her hiding in P’s toy box and she blended in so well it took Dinky over 10 minutes to find her. That was one good game of hide and seek because Dinky never stopped looking and sniffing that entire time.
- We put reindeer ears on PJ this week and she was not a happy camper. She sat there with her ears pinned back and it took everything to get her to walk around with them on her head. She knew we were laughing at her expense and she did not like it.
- It is hard for me to get picks of B actually decorating the Christmas tree. I don’t know if he has ever helped me actually put ornaments on the tree. Usually I get him to put the tree together, lights, and star on top, and I do the rest. I love that P kept asking him to pick her up so she could put ornaments on the top of the tree. It has always been S who decorates the bottom of the tree and I do the top of the tree. This year I had to share with both since S is getting taller.
- I put this on Instagram tonight but S was hanging an ornament on the tree and slipped on the train track below it, grabbed the tree and everything toppled over. We haven’t put breakable ornaments on it since S was born. For 7 years it has only been bells and paper ornaments. This year they wanted to put real ornaments on the tree. I said no because of Dinky and never would have guessed that S would be the one to knock over the tree. I am glad we didn’t get out the real ornaments.
- The tree is done! P was so excited from the moment she saw the Christmas tree box until the last ornament was put on the tree. S has never shown that much excitement about decorating the Christmas tree. She is definitely taking after me in that department and was my little side kick the entire time.
