Foto (Photo) Friday is my show and tell of pictures from the last week.
- S found this little toad jumping around our yard and wanted to hold it. He liked holding it until it started to move in his hands. It freaked him out and he dropped it. The poor frog had a brother that we also found and both had to go in the insect container. We convinced S to let them go in the garden, where they could help stuff grow in the garden by eating the bugs.
- I made this flag to send all of S’s 3 ½ year old pictures out to family. They were labor intensive to make and believe it or not I hand cut all of it because I did not have a flag in any of my Cricut cartridges. With B watching S I was able to get them done in only one day from start to putting stamps on the envelopes.
- S loves to ride his bike, and to make a circle he has to ride through a little patch of grass. When he is in his race car it is not a problem but on the bike he can’t do it, so we lay down a few pieces of wood. S decided to put these pieces of pipe that he got with B at Menard’s out on each side so that he would not fall off of the wood. Then he tells me, “Look I made a bridge!”
- I went to visit my Grandma with my parents and when I got home, B had gone and bought S a Power Wheels F-150 off of Craigslist. Like we don’t already have enough for S. He is only one kid, how many different things does S need that has wheels? 4 modes of transportation in the house, and 9 for outside. That does not include the bike and scooter we have in the garage for S’s cousin F when she comes to play.
- Wednesday night after we went out to eat S wanted to play outside. Our neighbor was walking her dog and came over. She loved to see S driving the truck around and went and jumped on the back of it for a ride. It was hilarious to watch. Yes, his cousins and the boys across the street have sat in the back, but she was the first adult.
- Yesterday, Grandma came over to check out the new truck and S asked her if she wanted a ride. (Yes he has his helmet on because we just got back from a bike ride and he was waiting for B to go on the four wheeler.
- Wednesday, Derby was not so sure about riding in the truck with S. When S stopped to go in reverse, Derby took her chance and jumped from the truck. Then yesterday, I put her in the seat next to S, while she looks happy in this picture, I am not so sure she is. You could not tell if she was exited and standing to be able to see everything or was she attempting to jump out. Can’t say because S pushed her out of the truck a few minutes later. So whether Derby liked it or not she jumped out of the truck. No worries she is a champ and walked away without a scratch.
