Foto Friday

Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week.  It has been a wet week.

  • I don’t remember what S was drawing but he was so proud of his creation.  He told me I had to take a picture of it.  I think I am going to have to ask him again.
  • Dash has been hanging out more inside because of the rain this week.  She will come in wet and crying.  When she finds me I will dry her off and warm her up.  Then she is right back at it again outside playing.  There are those times when she comes in really wet and just passes out on the couch next to me.  This time she was snuggling P’s baby.

  • Tuesday when we were walking back from my dad’s house to the church to get S from catechism class, P decided she was done.  She just laid down on the sidewalk to let me know she was done walking.  It was all a game to her because the minute I bent down with my arms out she came running.
  • I posted this on Instagram this week, but I made a train track for P in the playroom.  It took me 40 minutes to make all of it and I questioned how long it would take her to ruin it.  Much to my surprise it is Friday and still intact.

  • Yesterday (Thursday) I made P a marble track because she love to play with the marbles.  It took me about 25 minutes to build it and her less than 3 minutes to knock it over.  #mowgli #feralchild

  • Last night I decided to try to make French Macarons from the Treatsie Baking Kit I subscribed too.  I let both kids help me because they love to bake with me.  While I was reading the directions, P came over with her stool.  She immediately found the sprinkles and started playing with the bag of them.  I told her to put them down and then BOOM!  The sprinkle bag burst and the sprinkles went everywhere.  I spent 30 minutes vacuuming up sprinkles and we were still stepping on them.  So today I spent another 30 minutes just trying to vacuum up every sprinkle.  I swear they just kept appearing.  Afterward again we are still stepping on them.  Not as much, but we are going to be finding them for quite a while.
  • I made the macarons last night and did not like the filling so I was going to make another one today and left the macarons plain.  P grabbed the container of them and shook them trying to tell me she wanted one.  This is what they looked like after she was done.  Needless to say they are very fragile and almost all of them were broke and crumbled.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
