Foto (Photo) Friday is my show and tell of pics from the past week.
- P climbed on her little walk/ride-on puppy and started screaming at S and me. When we finally figured it out, she was yelling at us to push her around on the puppy. After I did my fair share, S took over for me.
- S wanted to swim and I didn’t feel like it so I let him swim and got out the water table for P. P only used the table for about five minutes and then started climbing the ladder to get into the pool. On her own she figured out how to climb the ladder, and step over to the other side inside the pool. She immediately jumps in the pool, no fear. I ended up putting her in her float so she could play in the water.
- When I was in the pool with the kids, P started grabbing at the snowmobile, so I put her on it. This is how she sat down on the snowmobile and held onto the handles. She started to rock it back and forth and bounce up and down. Too cute!
- Of course, S could not let P outshine him and as soon as she got off, he climbed right on. I think he just wanted to make sure we all knew it was his.
- S never liked to play with this house. We thought all kids liked it. That was not the case. P is a totally different story. She gets into that house every time we go outside. She will spend quite a bit of time in there. She tends to be so quiet in there you forget she is even outside.
- I started changing things up when it comes to P eating. I am trying to see how much better she is at figuring out how to eat on her own. This past week I started giving her a half of a banana for lunch and wanted to see if she could take bites of it. She did great and thought it was so much fun to eat. She was all smiles with every bite she took.
- The weather has finally broke and it is not blistering hot outside. We managed to head outside one night after dinner to ride toys around on the driveway. P crawled on top of the Winnie-the-Pooh train and sat there pushing buttons screaming. I guess she wanted me to push her around and I was right.
- S was so happy when B fixed the tire on his black Crazy Cart. He was out there zooming around us having a blast.
- The trick to getting P to sleep all night in her bed has been giving her my pillow. Who knew? I felt like she was old enough to use my pillow. She is always snuggled up on it when I check on her. This past week she has had to have a binky in her mouth and one in each hand when she sleeps. S was the same way. She carries that caterpillar around with her everywhere she goes in the house.
