Foto (Photo) Friday is a show and tell of pics from the past week.
- P now loves swimming in the pool. She sits in her little float kicking her legs trying to play with whatever S was playing with. This time it was getting fish with the net.
- S loves climbing up on the ladder and jumping onto his giant fish or onto his tubes. He will do it for hours and never seems to tire of it.
- I finally got P to keep this hat on. It is a size 2T-4T (yes she has a big head). Of course I had to tie the string and then hook the velcro so she couldn’t get it off, but it worked.
- S was so excited to play in Papa’s pool without his life jacket on. He only gets to do it for a short time when we go over to play and I am in the pool. Those swimming lessons are really coming in handy now. He can tread water, doggie paddle and float. He currently is learning different strokes and refining them.
- P has no interest in riding the little 4-wheeler, but she enjoys pushing backward all over the driveway. She is starting to get the hang of walking on her own. We still have a ways to go, but it’s a start at least.
- P is wearing the Baltic Amber Teething Necklace I got to review. I don’t think it has made a difference in her demeanor at all, but she will get it when I change her diaper when she gets up in the morning and after nap to put back on her. I think she is going to be a jewelry kid. #balticamber
- We went downtown to the old train bridge to wait for the Plated Nickel 765 Steam Engine to come through Toledo. Of course we have got to this bridge many times. S loves to watch trains pass underneath. This was P’s first time out on the bridge and we took S’s cousin F with us. S got to see three other trains pass while we were waiting. He loves to play what he calls a “Real Life Video Game” and runs and jumps from train car to train car. It passed the time. P was in awe of the trains. She was screaming and clapping for them as they passed underneath us.
- Last night we had dinner outside. We take P’s high chair outside but since she moves it so much she has to sit on the deck instead of the outside table. She still manages to move it and moved all the way over to the railing two times. As you can see she thinks she is so funny when she is doing it.
- I got this pacifier holder to review. I wish I had gotten it when it when P was a baby. She just let it hang from her mouth and walked around like that. I am thinking of keeping a binky attached to it and in her crib. I am hoping that it will be easier for her to find a binky in the middle of the night if she loses hers and not wake up. #ProEasyLivingCaterpillar
