I received a coupon for one free outfit from FabKids.com with a Citrus Lane box I received. I got the outfit quite a long time ago and never got around to reviewing the outfit. FabKids is an online website with outfits selected by Christina Applegate. The great thing about the outfits is they are complete outfits and you just pick the outfit that fits your little one the best.
None of the outfits were perfect for S and I wish I could have mixed a few things, but I was finally able to settle on an outfit. The outfits normally run for $39.95 but with my coupon code I only had to pay shipping which was $4.95. How could I pass that up? For one item alone I normally would have to pay more than that.
The clothes are still a little big for S, but he will grow into them and I selected classic styles so they will still be in when he is finally in that size. Since he doesn’t fit in the outfits just yet I thought it would be fun to lay him next to the outfits.
Since I got this outfit so long ago forgot what the outfit was called but I am guessing along the lines of Prep outfit. I took a picture of the receipt and I was totally wrong it is called Plaid on Denim.
The outfit came in a bright blue box and I loved the print on the inside of the box.
The shirt was a nice plaid that may work well for an Easter shirt. It has very springy colors.
I don’t really like skinny jeans for boys, so these are not my favorite. I do love when you roll the jeans up on the bottom they have lines, hence why they are called “Railroad Denim.”
I have been waiting for S to master belts so that we can hold his pants up with a belt versus the adjustable waist pants. It really limits what pants we can buy for S, so a belt would open up so many more opportunities. I think this belt will be easier than a traditional belt.
I did really like the outfit but don’t think that I would be willing to spend $39.95 on the outfit. Sometimes they run specials to get an outfit half off and if I could find one I totally loved I would be more than willing to pay $19.95 plus shipping of $4.95. Right now they are offering a special promotion to get 1/2 off your first outfit and free shipping. The outfits contain 2-pieces that are coordinating so you don’t have to try and find an outfit it is already put together for you.
