I was so excited to be selected through the Mom Select to host a Disney Side Celebration party. I could not believe how big and heavy they box was when it arrived. B was home the day it arrived and was more than happy to bring the box in. He literally could not wait to open it and see what was inside.
Upon first look we only saw a purple carry-on travel luggage. Hmmmm….how is this Disney related? Once we opened the luggage that is where all the supplies were at. It made more sense once I opened the luggage. There was so much stuff inside the suitcase. Where in the world should we start?
Mickey Mouse Party Supplies-I was excited to see all of the Mickey Mouse supplies. There were paper cups, napkins, plates, hanging decorations, tablecloth, balloons, cupcake wrappers, and cookie cutters. I loved all the supplies and the wheels started turning as to what I do with all of this.
Wide World of Sports Memorabilia– I am not sure what to do with all of this. There were double sided posters, which I think you are supposed to write on or draw on, using them as cheer cards. The bracelets are pretty explanatory as to what to do with those and there was one car decal included.
Party Games-Games were included to play during the party. Included were bingo, Disney trivia, stickers, and face paint. The bingo will be fun for the children and adults to play. The trivia may have to be answered by older kids and adults. The face paint I have no idea. I cannot figure it out if these are just guides as to how to paint someone’s face or is the black part of the card paint and I am supposed to get it wet and use it?
Baking Supplies-There were some recipes courtesy of The Chew, measuring cups, and Craisins. S loves craisins and is only too happy to eat them.
Guest Gifts-Photo Card Packs were included to give to all the guest at the party. There are 10 packs and I am only too happy to share these with everyone. Each guest will also get the really cute Mickey and Minnie Mouse poster of them hanging from a heart balloon. There is also a Muppets calendar and it advertises when the new Muppets movie comes out. There is also a DVD on vacation planning for us all to watch. One lucky guest will get the Disney iPhone case.
Luggage-I love the American Tourister 21” Spinner. This suitcase looks like it can pack a lot of stuff in it. I think this may be even a little too big for me to take to the hospital. I love the Mickey Mouse luggage tag and for sure will be putting it on my luggage.
Overall, the value of everything in this Disney Side Celebration kit is crazy. I cannot believe Disney spent that much on every kit they sent out. I would value this kit at over $220 ($100 suitcase, $10/HP photo card pack, $10 cookie cutters, and $10 party supplies). This is just rough guesses at the prices of the items that I could find online. I plan on having the Disney Side Celebration this coming weekend and cannot wait to make all the treats. I have so many ideas in my head of what I can do. After the party is over I will be sure to post pictures of the decoration, food created, and the party itself.
Disclosure: I was not compensated for this review and received all the items at no cost courtesy of Disney Side Celebration. All thoughts and opinions are all my own and a little of S and B.
