If you have any non-stick pans you know that silicone utensils are a necessity if you want to keep your pots and pans still working. With the way silicone utensils are made now they can withstand heat up to 425° F. The utensils are non-toxic BPA-free food grade silicone that is waterproof and dishwasher safe for simple care and cleaning.
I love that this set really contained utensils that are always needed. A spatula works great for flipping burgers on the grill or flipping food in a pan on the stove. The tongs are great to cook hotdogs on the grill or stir and grab your corn on the cob in the pot it is cooking in. The silicone gloves work great to grab dishes out of the oven, or to use when working the grill. The meat claws were really a new kitchen utensil to me. I have found many different ways to use them I can use them to hold a watermelon in place while I slice it or to help rip meat apart to make pulled pork sandwiches.
These utensils have really been the basics of what is needed in our kitchen. We always need pot holders to grab hot stuff with and not burn ourselves. A spatula is needed to get cookies off a cookie sheet, or flip a grill cheese sandwich over in a pan. The tongs work great to grab the chicken off the grill or put some spaghetti on a plat. The meat claws have been newest addition and we plan on using them next week when it is time to carve the turkey!
