Citrus Lane is a subscription box that is geared toward children. You select the age of your little one and they send you age appropriate items for your child. I have read several reviews on Citrus Lane and when I found a deal to get two months for the price of one I grabbed it. I initially signed up for the subscription back on August 3, and received my bonus box which happen to be the July box on August 9th.
Every month you and your child will get a box of 4-5 items. These best-of products are recommended and reviewed by real moms and are tailored to the age of your child, from newborn up to 5 years. Each month, discover and enjoy a surprise selection of some favorite finds, including toys, books, snacks, household products, as well as other goodies for kids and even parents.
This Citrus Lane box is dedicated to celebrating schools out and beautiful weather. Included are toys for playtime, picnicking, rainy days and capturing summer memories. The informational card gave a brief description about each product included in the box.
The box was cute and definitely tells you it’s from Citrus Lane.
I loved how the items were neatly wrapped in a bright yellow tissue paper.
- Postagram from Sincerely, Inc.-This is an app that lets you turn your favorite snapshot into printed postcards. The postcards have a perforated edge around the image that pops out and can be hung on the fridge. This code is good for 10 free postcards.
- Melissa & Doug Create A Craft Wooden Race Car ($4.99)-This kit takes arts and crafts time to a whole new level, with a pre-cut car, four wheels, paints, paintbrush, glue and stickers. S was so excited when he saw this and begged to make it with B right away. B however was not too excited when he saw the paint and said maybe another day.
- Bynto from Goodbyn ($9.50)-This has three compartments to keep items separated, so sandwiches won’t taste like bananas and fresh strawberries will be free from goldfish cracker crumbs. Made entirely of FDA approved materials, it’s also dishwasher safe and 100% recyclable. This will make it so much easier when packing snacks and meals for S. Instead of having to pack three separate containers I can now just stick it all in one.
- Dishwasher Safe Sticker Set from Goodbyn ($3.50)-These allow kids to personalize their Bynto boxes to avoid lunchbox mix-ups, and make mealtime even more fun. This set includes two sheets with over 100 stickers, ranging from letters of the alphabet to robot arms to bananas. S had so much fun decorating his container and I loved the fact that I could spell his name out on the lid for him. Not that I need it, but I love the “I’m allergic” sticker that is included (not that we need it).
- Freeze Dried Just Strawberries .35 oz. ($1.25)-Dried fruits from Just Tomatoes are hand-picked and then dehydrated in order to preserve color, flavor, and nutrients. No additives to worry about, just yummy fruit. S did not like these at all. I tried a few times to have him try them and every time he did not like them.
- Cool It Buddy Instant Cold Pack by Me4Kidz-2-pack ($2.99)–These packs chill instantly when activated with a firm shake. These are great to have on hand, so I think I will be keeping one in our travel bag in the car so I will have it for S’s bumps and bruises.
This box had a total value of $22.23. This month’s value not including the Postagram is below the regular price of $25, but I am okay with that because I only paid $12.50. I cannot wait to see what the Citrus Lane Back-to-School box looks like. If you are interested in ordering a subscription or checking out what Citrus Lane has to offer just click here. This is great for young children of all ages since Citrus Lane gears each box toward the age of your child 0-5 years. When you are filling out your information it will ask you age and sex of your child to make sure you have age appropriate items. So an infant would not receive the Create-A-Craft Wooden car and someone S’s age would not receive a teether.
