I am not really particular when it comes to having fresh squeezed lemons or just using lemon juice that they sell in a bottle. So if I don’t need freshly squeezed lemons why in the world would I need this? Oranges!
S is obsessed with trying to make his own orange juice. When he was younger he asked me to peel an orange for him do he could drink the juice. He literally put a straw in the orange and tried to suck the juice out of it. Of course, it didn’t work, so he asked for the potato masher and commenced mashing the orange to try to get a little juice out of it. He got a little. Ever since then he has always been asking if he can squeeze some oranges to make his own orange juice.
This was perfect. It is small enough that S can try to do it on his own and feel like he made orange juice all on his own. The Lemon Squeezer is made of stainless steel and will not break when squeezing. It is dishwasher safe so I was more than happy to make S put it in the dishwasher when he was done.
