P is all about any kind of fizzy bomb. When I saw these could actually be used in the bathtub I was excited to try them. These were perfect for S because they all had Lego like characters within each bath bomb. I wanted to try one out in a container before I put it in the tub just to make sure it didn’t turn my kiddos or the tub a different color and so I could test to see if the soap would irritate their skin. I am so glad I did try them out in a container because I was not prepared for everything that was going to happen. Let me just say I have never really tried a true “bath bomb” before. I have done fizzies with P so I thought I knew what to expect.
When I let P put the bath bomb in the water after we took off the plastic wrap it immediately foamed up the water. I could not believe how many bubbles it was creating. The bomb had little stars on top of the bomb that were stuck within it. P thought they were really “cool.” I then decided to go ahead and empty the water out and refill the container with clean water because I was afraid the bubbles would over flow the top if I didn’t. It definitely would have added some serious bubbles to the bathtub. All though the water was tinted blue it did not dye any of our hands as other fizzies have.
When I refilled the water I was checking to see if we could find the little Lego like guy that was included. It was started to peak through but it looked like it was in pieces. When I put it back in the water for P sure enough little pieces started floating on top of the bubbles. Not knowing how many pieces I was looking for it made emptying the water again a little tricky.
I managed to get all of the pieces in my hand but wasn’t completely sure until after we assembled the guy. I laid the pieces on a paper towel and let B and S put the Lego like guy together because I had no idea how to assemble it and there were not instructions included. The put the guy together no problems but asked me if there was hat. I had no idea so I looked at the pictures and it did show a white helmet should be on this guy. I had B search the garbage disposal to make sure it didn’t fall down when I was switching the water. We could not find it and just assumed it was missing. Not that it really matters because he is just an extra guy for S to play with.
Overall I liked how this bath bomb is geared more to boys. It did not turn our skin any other shades and did not seem to irritate there skin. I, however, would not use these in the bath tub. There is no way that I would be able to find all the tiny little pieces floating in the bath tub and not stop them from going down the drain. I will let them do the rest of the bombs but it will be in containers where I can ensure we do not dump pieces down the drain.
