Wipes are constantly being used in our house for a number of reasons.  The main reason is of course, P.  We use wipes every time we change her diaper.  I am pretty much married to my wipes I currently use.  I love my brand of baby wipes.  I know what is in them and do not have to worry about chemicals that can be harmful.

Then I found WaterWipes.  The wipes contain only two ingredients, 99.9% purified water, and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.   They are chemical free and had no odor to them when I smelled them.  Sometimes wipes say they are unscented but really have a scent to them.  These did not.

Since the WaterWipes are chemical free and they do not contain any preservatives the wipes will keep for up to 15 months if unopened.  Once they are opened it is recommended to use within a month.  For us that would not be a problem.  The packaging was like any other wipe package.  The way to open and close the wipes was by using the sticky tab.  I prefer to have the plastic top that opens and closes to ensure a good seal when you are done using them.

A nice perk of WaterWipes is that they are not interfolded.  This allows for the wipes to be in a sterile environment inside the package.  To maintain that is recommended to not relocate the wipes to an alternative container.  For me this was not possible.  After using about ¾ of the package the top started to tear and I was not able to close the wipes to keep them moist.  I figured it was better to move them then have them dry out.

Overall, I didn’t mind these wipes.  They are little on the high side.  1 60-count pack of wipes was $3.99, which breaks down to about $.07 per wipe.  I currently pay about $.02 per wipe for my other brand of baby wipes.  Because these are as close to water as you can get without using just water they would be great for babies who have extra sensitive skin or are prone to diaper rashes.

I was excited to review WaterWipes for babies.  One of the main requirements for this was to check out the displays at local Meijer.  You can click here to find a store located near you.  I did this and it said it was available at my local Meijer.  Unfortunately, when I went to Meijer they could not be found.  I looked everywhere and even asked the store manager.  They were not available yet at our store.  I checked with another store and they didn’t have them either.  The stores did say they had the material to make the display but had not received the product yet.  I look forward to checking out the display when it is done.

I did some checking about where else WaterWipes are sold.  I was able to find them at another local store.  While I was really hoping to find them at Meijer, at least I know they are going to be there soon.  I was just excited to be able to sample the wipes.  #WaterWipes #IC #ad
