I got a chance to try another top from Amazon. I found this floral tunic top that came in 16 different styles. Some of the tops had pleating and the other shirts had a flat front top. I picked the pleated front to detour focusing on my stomach. Based on the size chart it said if you were an 8 you should order an XL. I went ahead and order the x-large but it definitely ran big and I should have gone with the large instead.
I paired the top with black leggings. I liked the outfit and think it would be great for a wedding or baby shower, church, or a date night. If I worked I would say you could wear it to work, but since I am a stay-at-home mom it wouldn’t really work to wear around the house. The top is a polyester/spandex mix. It hung well and did not accentuate my stomach, but actually helped to hide it. I don’t really care for the pattern of this top, and maybe would have tried another pattern if I had known what it was going to look like.
