Wild Wednesday is about all the crazy or unbelievable things that have happened in the last week to me, in the news, pop culture, etc.
Since last Wednesday here is what has happened:
- I think I am going to make all my Christmas cookies this week and freeze them. I made a bunch of sugar cookies in August and froze them for about 3 weeks. When I thawed them and frosted them I could not tell the difference. This would alleviate so much of the workload that comes in December and baking.
- I really want another dog (Yorkie). I know that right now is not the right time. With winter coming and the cold weather it is not a good time to potty train a puppy. I also want to get P potty trained come January and do not want to do both at the same time.
- The kids tried Bagel Bites for the first time tonight for dinner. S really liked them, but P took one bite and did not go back. I had a piece and did not care for them so that would explain why S liked them so much. There was no taste or flavor to them.
- P really wanted a dance party tonight. They both danced for about an hour before it was time to get ready for bed. I think they would have kept going if I let them. Who knew I had such dance crazy kids!
- Dash is still hanging out in the house and I love it. S told me this morning that he really likes Dash being stuck in the house because we get to see and play with her so much more. I agree.
Chasing chipmunks on the TV because she is not allowed outside! She is going to hunt somehow.
- We are going to get out our Christmas decorations this week. It is supposed to be 69° on Friday so I told S that we would decorate and put lights up outside.
- I am still amazed at how much P likes to draw. She loves to draw/doodle in my planner. She grabbed it and doodled in it for the entire walk yesterday. Of course she has to use a BLUE pen. She is obsessed with anything blue. Blue silverware, dishes, clothes, socks, pens, crayons, blankets, etc.
