Thursday Treats is all about the best things I have had happen in the past week as far as good things, good foods, awesome finds at stores, great TV shows, etc.

I am now 36 weeks pregnant and can so thankful that it is almost over. I would not be upset if I went into labor today or anytime soon.
I got some great finds this year with my Target Easter clearance hauls. S did great going to all the Targets with me and I could not have been more pleased with him.
The weather has been great these past couple of days. We have been able to play outside in the afternoons.
I took a video of the baby moving in my stomach and sent it to B at work. It totally grossed him out and made me laugh. I have to see and feel this all day and night, he only had to see a minute of it. It really looks like an alien trying to bust out. Here is what it looks like in the movie “Spaceballs” just to give you an idea of how I feel.

S finally agreed yesterday to fly his Toy Story kite when the tiny Dora kite would not fly. This Dora kite is almost a joke. It is so small about the size of my hand. How in the world can I make that fly for him? It is impossible and the best I can get the kite is like 3 feet off the ground. When he agreed to try the Toy Story kite I was excited, but of course we had hardly any wind today and when it did blow it was just gusts. We got that kite flying, and it flew so high that we actually had to start reeling it back in because we were out of string. S said he was done and asked me to get the kite down. When I was reeling the string back in I lost my grip on the handle and the kite took off on us. S and I chased the kite, but thankfully the string got caught in one of our trees. We just sat and waited for the wind to die down so the kite would come down. We waited for quite a while and S’s grandpa just happened to stop by and saved the day by getting out a ladder and getting the string for us. No way could I have carried that heavy ladder that far or climbed that high being this pregnant. We were able to save the kite to fly another day.
