Target 90% Summer Clearance Finds 2016-Round 1 of 4

So I know I usually go to the four Targets in the Toledo area, but this time it was different.  Friday the 15th I took P to her dentist appointment and we stopped at the Target on Airport Hwy before her appointment and the one on Monroe St. after her appointment.  After scouring the stores I did not find any summer clearance that was worth going back for.  In fact, at Monroe St. they were pulling the little bit of summer clearance they had to salvage before it even went 90%.  Saturday morning the 16th before we went to the family reunion I ran to Target by myself to see if the summer clearance finally went 90%.  It did and I scored an entire cart full of stuff for less than $20.  All of this was only $19.76.  I got to the store at 8:30am and there was hardly anyone there.

Not Pictured: fedora ($.50), rocket ($.49), beach ball ($.30), and green swim fins ($2.48).

  • I walked up and down the aisles searching for items that were put back in the wrong spot, people had hidden, or were put down by other customers.  I was also scanning Instagram the entire time I was walking because people kept posting hidden clearance.  I found the following:
    • Red Bucket-$.39
    • Blue Mesh Bags with toys-2 @ $.99 each
    • Plastic Bag with Sand Toys-$.99
    • Water Squirters-4 @ $.30 each
    • Water Balloon Sling Shot-$.30
    • Camping Hammock-$1.90
    • Racquet Game-2 @ $.59 each
    • Scarves-3 @ $.30 each
    • Speedo Swim Fins-$2.48

I got the scarves for my nieces for there birthday presents next year.  S was ecstatic about the squirt toys and cannot wait to use them with his friends.  P was eyeing the sand bucket when we were at the other Targets on Friday so when I found one I snagged it for her.  We really don’t need anymore sand toys, but there were some really cool shovels in the sets that made it all worth it.  S will love the balloon launcher, and the racquet games.  I couldn’t pass up a nice hammock for that price.
  • All of this stuff is for next year
    • Hamburger Press-$.50
    • Water Bottles-3 @ $.49 each
    • 4th of July Bags-4 @ $.10 each
    • Glow Sticks-2 @ $.10 each
    • Window Clings-2 @ $.10 each
    • Beach Ball-$.30
    • Flashing LED Glow Sticks-$13@.10 each

The hamburger press is for B to use now.  I got the water bottles because S and P love to use them.  Since I found other water bottles I decided to give these to my nieces for there birthdays next year along with using the 4th bags as there gift bags.  I put the decorations I bought and extra LED necklaces along with the glow sticks in one of the 4th bags so I can easily find them next year for the 4th of July.

When I got home with all of this stuff, P immediately grabbed the bucket and started loading stuff up in it.  S loved the squirt toys and was begging to use them.  He also had me cut the ties so he could play with his huge rocket.  That is why it is not pictured.
