S loves to play with marbles. Does he play with marbles like he is supposed to? No, he loves to bury them in his sandbox and dig them up like buried treasure. When I showed S these marbles he was not impressed. So many of the marbles came with blemishes, were misshapen, or cracked. When I showed him the shooter that came with the marbles it was like the Holy Grail of marbles.

I was disappointed to see the quality of the marbles. When I opened the pack I could not believe how many had flaws on them. Out of the 40 marbles, 26 were damaged with lines, dents, etc., 6 were not round and would not roll smoothly, 1 was cracked and I had to throw it away, and only 8 marbles were okay. So a fifth of the marbles were okay and the rest had some sort of issue. The shooter also had lines and dents on it. Thankfully my son only wanted to play in the sand with these, because there is no way we could actually play marbles with them.

The shooter to S was like finding a golden nugget it was way bigger than any of his other shooters. He could not wait to take it out to the sandbox and bury it. These marbles sat on the counter for a few days in their velvet bag until one day they were gone. When I asked S what happen to them he told me that he took them out in the sandbox a few days ago. Good thing I pay attention.
