Manic Monday

Manic Mondays are when I let you know what plans I have for the week.  Some weeks I may be very busy where other weeks there may not be any plans.  I have also decided to do a quick recap of what we actually did versus what I thought we were going to do.

This Week

Luckily this week’s happenings will be pretty easy.  We are going on a mini-family vacation/get together so most days will be filled with that.

Monday-Packing and getting ready to go to my brother’s cottage tomorrow.  S is so excited, gotta tell you I am a little too.

Tuesday-Waking B up in the morning and then packing the truck to leave.  Spending the rest of the day having fun with family.

Wednesday-Cottage

Thursday-Cottage, No Target (maybe tomorrow) or farmer’s market

Friday-A little bit of play time in the morning and then packing up to come home.  B is going to the tractor pulls sometime this weekend and has not decided if he will go today or Sunday.  This will be S’s first tractor pull.  Me, I will be enjoying my time at home!

Saturday-B took the weekend off, so who know what we may do, go out on the boat, or the new canoe (that is a tale for tomorrow in Troubled Tuesday).

Sunday-If B didn’t go to the tractor pull Friday he will be going today otherwise we will be home.

Last Week Recap

Monday we hung out at home, and I got S to take a nap by driving him around.  We all went to the demolition derby at night and S had a great time.  Tuesday we went to Shipshewana as planned and walked up and down every aisle looking at all the stuff for sale.  Wednesday S went to Read to the Beat, we got tons of rain in only a few hours, and we played outside.  Thursday S and I went to the Disney Store for Playdate, and then hit two Target stores.  S took a nap and I took one with him.  We slept through the farmer’s market and B had to go without us.  Friday we stayed home and S played outside while I got burnt fixing the netting on the trampoline.  20 minutes in the sun (no sunblock, my fault) and I was baked.  Saturday, S and I went to the build at Lowe’s and then hung out at home the rest of the day playing outside with the boys.  S loves to play with the boys.  Sunday S slept in and I couldn’t have been happier, well I could of if it wasn’t in my bed!  At least he didn’t come in till like 7am.  I thought we were up for the day but he fell back asleep.  He sure did need it!  We played inside most of the morning, I went to Target and then we played outside the rest of the day and ended it with a bike ride.  Not bad at sticking to the plans for the week.

Monday-Nothing is going on during the day, but we plan on going to the County fair for the Demolition Derby.  B and I have always gone, and S has gone every year since he was born.  He loves it.  Even when he was 8 months old he liked watching it.

Tuesday-We are going to Shipshewana.  We have not been since S was a baby so I have no idea if he will like walking around.  For those who don’t know about Shipshewana, it is basically a big flea market, that sells new stuff really cheap, crafts, and some used stuff.

Wednesday-S is going to the library for Beat to the Book in the morning.  If I understood it correctly there will be assistance dogs there during the time.  S will love having dogs at the event.

Thursday-B has a team dinner so he is going out with his co-workers while S and I stay home.  He is going to eat a huge juicy steak and we will probably have something like chicken patties and fries.  Since he is going out to dinner, I am sure I get to go to Target without S in the morning.  We will also try to hit the farmer’s market before B goes out to eat.

Friday-Right now it looks like we will be home chilling all day.

Saturday-S has a build at Lowe’s making Dusty the plane from the movie Planes.  I will also start packing and getting stuff ready to go to my brother’s cottage this coming week.  S is so excited about going to his Uncle J’s and Aunt S’s.

Sunday-As of right now, nothing is planned and we will be hanging out at home.  That is a week away so who knows if our plans will change.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
