The kids love their fruit so much better when it is peeled.  If I take the skins off the pears and apples they will gobble them up like it was the best candy in the world.  The Julienne& Vegetable Peeler looked like a giant razor.  It was scary to look at.  This would do some serious damage as a razor.

S was intrigued when he saw this and wondered what it was.  There were two different blades.  The blades will basically peel or shred.  On one side there was a blade with tiny grooves that peels the skin off your fruit leaving a cute design behind.  The other blade has deep groves which makes a Julienne cut.  When I did this with an apple I ended up with apple fries.

The apple fries turned out awesome.  I was really careful when using the peeler so I did not take chunks of my skin with it.  The apple fries were a big hit with the kids and me.  I actually loved eating the apple this way.  It was almost like apple coleslaw.  The Julienne Peeler is stainless steel and dishwasher safe.
