Friday’s Letters

Enjoy my Friday’s Letters.

Dear S, I think you have switched from a Momma’s boy to a Daddy’s boy.  You hang out with me when just the two of us are home, but the minute Daddy comes home you are all about him.  I mean you never leave his side from the time he gets home until you go to bed.  The only time you come to me is when you are hurt or did something wrong and are afraid you are going to get yelled at.  Come back to Mommy!

Dear B, Thanks for putting up with me and this pregnancy.  I know it really sucks because you are working full-time and have to come home and help.  Just 12 more weeks of this and then instead of helping me, you can help with the baby!

Dear New Baby, You need to learn how to digest sugar.  When I do my glucose test again on Saturday, you need to digest sugar so I/we can past the test.  I do not want to have gestational diabetes.  I refuse to do the three hour glucose test if we do not pass this test.  Cross your fingers and hope we pass!

Dear Target, I went to visit you yesterday and was happy to find Pampers Swaddler diapers on clearance.  They were only 15% off, but with a $1.50 coupon for each box and when you buy two boxes of Swaddlers you get a $15 gift card.  I thought this was a pretty good deal.  I have been scoping out prices of diapers and currently the regular price at Wal-Mart is the cheapest per diaper.  Of course, when I got to the register the gift card did not prompt.  I finished my check out and went over to customer service.  If I bought the regular price diapers and received the gift card I would have saved $5.17.  So I returned the diapers and will just wait.  Why does it have to be so confusing?  I even checked the sales tag and nowhere on it did it say it excluded clearance diapers.  Oh well, I don’t need them yet.

Dear Squirrel building a nest under our deck, Please reconsider building a home under our deck above the ceiling below.  I know if you were not a wild animal it could be fun but with Derby and PJ the barking and antagonizing will never end.  Also I really don’t want the dogs to tear up the deck scratching to get to you.  Trust me when I say Derby will never give up, so please be the first to surrender.

Dear Friday, I am so happy that we have nothing planned for you today.  I am looking forward to just being able to hang out in our pajamas this morning and then lounging around in the afternoon.  It has been a busy few days for S and me.  Being pregnant and all the running around really drain me so I need today.

Disclaimer: I have never claimed to be any great writer. So any mistakes that are made are my fault. Sometimes I mix up names B, S, and P, but I think you can figure out who I am talking about. If you find any grammatical errors just fix it in your mind so it sounds right.
